It did have little use for about 10 years when I chose other pursuits other than remote travel, but it was always used as the Xmas beer fridge.Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials Windows Server 2012 R2 Foundation Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Windows 8.1 Windows 8.1 Enterprise Windows 8.1 Pro Windows 8 Windows 8 Enterprise Windows 8 Pro Windows Server 2008 Standard Windows Server 2008 Datacenter Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Windows Server 2008 Enterprise without Hyper-V Windows Server 2008 Standard without Hyper-V Windows Server 2008 Datacenter without Hyper-V Windows Vista Home Basic Windows Vista Home Premium Windows Vista Enterprise Windows Vista Business Windows Vista Ultimate Windows Vista Starter Windows Vista Business 64-bit Edition Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit Edition Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit Edition Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit Edition Windows Vista Enterprise 64-bit Edition Windows 7 Enterprise Windows 7 Home Basic Windows 7 Home Premium Windows 7 Professional Windows 7 Starter Windows 7 Ultimate Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Windows Server 2008 R2 Web Edition More. Rubbish Engel all you like, but I think still going and nearly 50 is testamount to Engel reliability. I have often thought, given its age, that I should buy an Aldi one when they are available as a back up (or is that to retire the Engel and get with the times). But it still works and it still cools and freezes. It has been abused, neglected, mistreated. It has been in rollovers x3, (really the cars just got tired and fell on their sides). It still flattens the biggest AGM overnight, no problems. However after forking out $300+ for each of Sheens, Finch, Electrolux fridges that did not work on angles or in heat I had had enough. Tuesday, at 16:41I dont know anything about Waeco or any fridge made after 1972, which is when I bit the bullet and bought my 1 and a 1/2 cubic ft Engel for at the time a stupid price of $995. That actual current draw is fairly meaningless as it is cycle on time and frequency which determines battery depletion, after all that is what people have to consider. If another brand cools quicker, insulated more, will use no more average current than an Engel. So two boards out of three in the fridge faulty. Also, Dud capacitor on the temp board had a hole in it. Son In Law, MT45 just out of warranty had the secondary board which runs the solenoid, fail. Uncle had one like above, only ever used as second fridge at home and it developed a gas leak after a relatively short time, no more go.

Had it checked in Alice service dealer and tested OK.

Alice Springs in June in rear of cruiser as a freezer after I bought it, ran all the time and -1C min temp achieved. My 39 litre Engel works ok, cools slowly though and the insulation is poor. Any fridge which keeps going is reliable.
